In this blog, we are going to discuss LOSC Master Data and Configuration Steps in SAP Extended Warehouse Management

Configuration Steps

1.      Define Warehouse Process Type

Step 1: Copy from WPT 1010

• Warehouse Process Type (Internal) for Transfer

2. Define Control Indicator for Warehouse Process Type Determination 

Step 1: Create New Entries, Enter WPT determining Control Indicator, and description, and save

3.     Determine Warehouse Process Type 

4.     Define Storage Type

Step 1: Copy from 1010

5.     Generate Activity area from Storage Type

Step 1: Enter Warehouse Number and Storage Type and Execute

6.     Create Bin

Step 1: Enter Storage Bin Name and Enter, Enter Storage Type, Save

7.     Layout-Oriented Storage Control 

Step 1: Click on New Entries, Enter Warehouse Number, Source Storage Bin, Intermediate Storage Type, Intermediate Storage bin, and check ID point box

Master Data

1. Create Material Master

 Step 1: Enter Material, Material Type, Industry Type, select, views

2. Enter Plant Storage Location

3. Maintain Warehouse Product Master

4. Maintain Packaging Specification

Step 1: Click on Create button, enter Packaging Specification Group and, enter, select line item, click on view

Step 2: Enter Condition Type, Product, and Ship from

Step 3: Click on Product, and enter the Product detailed

Step 4: Enter Packaging Material, and click on HU Check button

Step 5: Click on Preview

Step 6: Click on Activate

Conclusion

The above Steps need to be followed to configure LOSC in SAP EWM.
