Error during stock transfer from the plant storage location to the Storage location within the plant


In this blog, we are going to address the error while transferring the stock IM managed storage location to the EWM managed storage location within the plant.


Description of Error


While doing stock transfer within in plant from the IM storage location to the EWM storage location.


Step: 1: T-code: MIGO- Enter material, quantity, plant source, the IM location, destination, and the EWM managed storage location. The system created an inbound delivery in back background message, populated the delivery created, and distributed it in WMS.


Step 2: But when we process the EWM inbound delivery using T-code: /N/SCWM/PRDI

Step 3: ERP delivery document number and execute, we find that no delivery document is populating.


Step 4: T-code: SMQ2- Search the queue with the inbound delivery document number that is stuck in the queue, while clicking on the details, getting

Message: DOCUMENT XXXX not found.

Steps to find out the reason


Step 1: T-code: VL33N- Display the inbound delivery document type/ Item in the delivery


Step 2: SPRO> SAP IMG Screen> SCM EWM> Extended warehouse management> Goods receipt process> Inbound delivery> Inbound delivery document type/ Item type defined in the configuration check,


Step 3: Define the allowed document type/ Item type for the inbound process.


Step 4: SPRO> SAP IMG Screen> SCM EWM> Extended warehouse management> Interfaces> ERP Integration> Delivery processes> Map document type/ Item type ERP to EWM system, Inbound delivery document type and EWM Inbound delivery document type are mapped if not maintained.


Step 5: SPRO> SAP IMG Screen> SCM EWM> Extended warehouse management> Cross process settings> Warehouse tasks> Define warehouse process type


Step 6: SPRO> SAP IMG Screen> SCM EWM> Extended warehouse management> Cross process settings> Warehouse tasks> Determination warehouse process type


Map warehouse process type, Warehouse number/ Delivery document type, and save


Step 6: T-code: SMQ2- Process the Queue, it will be solved, the message will appear in no queue


Step 7: T-code: /N/SCWM/PRDI- Enter ERP delivery document number and execute, now your delivery document will flow in the screen, you can process it.
