I am able to create a Process Order thru Sales Order Line Item >>> Process Order Created & Showing the Sales Order Number + Line Item Number + Sch.Line Item ==> but Sales Order do not populate the <Process Order> button on the Schedule Line Item screen and is not linked to 'Process Order'. I am not sure what I am missing, need some help please.
Material Type (FERT) + Item Catg. Group (ZLIS Copy of LEIS) and that is populating 'ZTAK (Copy of TAK)' at Sales Order Line Item.
Regards / Anil.
Hi @Anil Jawalkar , try to use planning strategy 20 or 21 in material master MRP view, after creation of sales order run mrp run MD02 or MD50 , post MRP run check MD04 for your material it should create planned order with reference to sales order. Once you will convert it into process order (from MD04) your process order will be having linkage with sales order.
HI Parminder, Thanks for the response, but we have a different design here while creating the Sales Order only at the line item level the system will . . .
(1) CREATE the Process Order in the background and update the SO # + Line Item # + Sche.Line Item # in the Process Order and also (2) UPDATE the Sales Order - Line Item - Schedule Item level populate a new 'Process Order' button, before 'Saving' the Sales Order in real time. (3) When browsed thru this button in CHANGE/DISPLAY mode it will take to the Process Order connected to it.
The first step is is working good. The second step is NOT working that should update the Sales Order/Line Item/Schedule Line Item. The third step will not be there as there is no update from the second step.
I am looking for the help at first step (in fact this was working successfully on one of the Sales Order and then something changed at MM Level/PP Level and we are NOT able to catch up with that).
Please check in the material master change log on what changes are made by MM/PP team and that should be the first point to start the investigation.
@Anil Jawalkar for your above scenario, to automatic creation of production / process order we use planning strategy 82. Can you maintain that strategy in material master and try to create sales order.
We had to maintain a Z strategy as per the business requirements and working good. Thanks for all the help and support.
